| Me That's me in the pic, I'm leaning on a 152 belonging to Benbow Aviation in Torrance, CA. I'm a recreational private pilot, this particular photo was taken before a trip to Catalina. Good Buffalo burgers there and it's a nice trip. Basically I'm aviation mad, I fly full size and radio controlled aircraft, and make my living as an aircraft mechanic and sheet metal tech. My present modeling interests focus 90% around thermal duration soaring, thus the reason for this site. I fly some slope and power occasionally also. Living two miles from a beach slope site kind of makes me obligated to fly there every other day or so. |
